Hello,
My name is Jared Muser. I was born and raised in the Tri-Valley, and have spent most of my years in Livermore, CA. Growing up, I had an interest in filming and editing videos with friends. It was not until Summer 2020 in the midst of COVID-19 that I decided to turn this hobby into a business. I love being able to create video content for others to enjoy and keep for years to come. I have acquired extensive knowledge and skills through work experience and various film courses. My passion is to create high-quality video content for Christian organizations and faith-based businesses, helping them grow their organization in order to advance the Christian Gospel message.

Story Of
The book of 1st Samuel tells a story of two key figures: David, a man deeply aligned with God's desires, and Saul, who was driven by fear and self-interest. David, characterized as a man after God's heart, never actively pursued power or authority; instead, they were given to him.
In contrast, Saul relentlessly sought power and
control, ultimately leading to a tragic end.
Throughout 1st Samuel, David exemplifies
trust in God, faithfully stewarding whatever
was entrusted to him in each phase of life.
Saul, however, harbored discontent and envy,
consumed by jealousy for what he lacked.
David lived with an open hand, surrendering control
to God, while Saul clenched his fist, attempting to
dominate every aspect of his life.
David's beginning as a shepherd boy illustrates this contrast
vividly. He was anointed king not because he sought the position,
but because of his faithfulness to God and contentment with what he
already had.
This story shows the difference between striving for control, as Saul did, and trusting in God's providence, as David did.
Growing up, I was raised in a Christian family and went to church every week, but I lived a lifestyle of control in every aspect of my life, resulting in a life plagued with fear & anxiety. Jesus taught me a lesson on trust and control early on in 2024, showing me that when I let go of control and fully trust Him I am living out what it means to be made in His image.
We were designed to trust God. We were designed to live with an open hand.
Open Hand Productions is rooted in this Biblical principle. That is why I seek to use my video skills to empower faith-based businesses, cultivating their growth and vitality through the creation of compelling media content.
